The ceremony was held in the MAB Hall and was graced by the MAB Vice President / MAB Sports & Recreation Committee Chairman, YDH Dato' L. Krishnan. The competition was held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 1 - 15 April 2005. A contingent of 12 persons lead by Tn. Hj Aris, Director of Paralimpic Sports in the Ministry and Youth & Sports including 4 coaches and an Assistant Manager En Mohd Fairuz and 6 players participated and returned victoriously with two bronze medals in the singles and doubles events.
