Hello ladies and gentlemen.
Here are six announcements.
Announcement 1: Malaysian Open Goalball Championship and Asean Invitation 2008
This will be organised by MAB from 20 – 23 November at the Pusat Latihan dan Pemulihan Perindustrian, Bangi (PLPP) for men and ladies. The fee is RM600.00 per team. First prize for men is RM2,500.00 and first prize for ladies is RM1,000.00. Please contact En. Fairuz at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 136.
Announcement 2: MCR National Rehabilitation Conference
This is the second conference organised by MCR and will be held from 7 – 9 November. Accommodation with breakfast is available for the disabled at the Bangi Centre for RM25.00 per night. Announcement 3: Public Speaking Course
The Outreach Care committee would like to organised a public speaking course for the blind with the help of Toast Masters. The course is being plan for 11th and 25th October (2nd and 4th Saturday of the month) from 2.00 – 5.00 pm in the MAB Hall. Announcement 4: Beautiful Gate Talentime For The Disabled
This will be on Saturday, 6th December from 1.00 – 6.00 pm at the Summit Shopping Complex in Subang USJ. Blind persons aged 18 and above are invited to take part. Prizes include cash vouchers, gift hampers and trophies. You must submit CD recording of your songs in BM, English or Chinese. Closing date is 1st November. Announcement 5: Datok L. Krishnan’s Deepavali Party
This will be on Monday, 27th October at 9.00 am at the St. John’s Institution Hall. All blind persons are cordially invited. For registration, please contact Pn. Jamilah at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 173.
Announcement 6: Marriage Counseling Workshop
This will be on Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd November at the MAB Hall. Married and unmarried blind couples and their children who are about to get married are cordially invited to attend. It is free of charge. Topics will include expectations in marriage, solving conflicts, financial planning, sexual intimacy, and spiritual development according to respective religions.
