Hello friends.
Here are two new announcements and three old announcements.
Announcement 1: Variety Talentime By Elderly Blind Club
This Informal Talentime will be on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009, at 2.00 pm at the MAB Hall. It is open to all the adult blind. Each contestant will perform only one item which could be singing in BM, English, Chinese or Instrumental. You can be accompanied by someone or use karaoke. Prizes are RM250.00, RM200.00, RM150.00 and four consolations of RM30.00 each. Hope to get at least fifteen participants. Light refreshments will be provided. Those interested to be contestants or to attend the event please contact Mr. Godfrey Ooi at tell 03-22722677 ext 127.
Announcement 2: Mandarin Sing-Along
This will be on Monday, December 29th a public holiday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Elderly Blind Centre. The fee is RM1.00 only. Please register with Mr. Lai Kok Kiong at tel. 03 2274 2576.
Announcement 3: Elderly Blind Club Gathering
This will be on Saturday, 6th December at 11.00 am at the MAB Hall. This will be preceded by lotto at the cafetaria from 9.00 am under the charge of En. Taslim. The fee is RM4.00 for members and RM5.00 for non-members. Please register with Ms. Rani at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 154 or 016 685 4837.
Announcement 4: Indoor Game Competitions Organised By The Elderly Blind Club
This will be on Saturday, 13th December at the MAB cafetaria from 10.00 am – 12.00 noon followed by lunch. Games and prizes are as follows:
- Dominoes and Congkak – RM30.00, RM25.00 and RM20.00
- Draughts and Othello – RM50.00, RM40.00 and RM30.00
- Scrabble and Chess – RM80.00, RM60.00 and RM40.00

Announcement 5: National Open Lawn Bowl Championship 2008 For The Blind
This will be from 13 – 14 December at Bukit Kiara Greens. There will be singles for men and women and also mix doubles under the B1, B2 and B3 categories. The fee is RM20.00 per participant. Forms are available at the MAB reception counter or can be request from the Jabatan Belia & Sukan Negeri. Closing date is 28th November. For more details, please contact En.
