Hello friends.
Here are three revise announcements.
Announcement 1: Indoor Game Competitions
This will be on Saturday, December 13th at the MAB cafetaria from 10.00 am – 12.00 noon followed light lunch. Number of person registered for the games so far are as follows:
- Congkak – 3, (6 more places)
- Dominoes – 8, (full)
- Draughts – 5, (three more places)
- Othello – 8, (full)
- Scrabble – 5, (three more places)
As no one as registered for Chess, and three only for Congkak we are considering to have a second group for Scrabble and Dominoes. This means there will be group 1 and group 2 for Scrabble and Dominoes. Each group will have its own cash prizes. Please register with Ms. Violet Kok at Tel 03-2274 2576.
Announcement 2: Variety Talentime Organised By Elderly Blind Club
This will be on Saturday, 3rd January 2009, at 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm followed by the light refreshments. It is open to all person from 16 years and above. You can perform only one item in any language or an Instrumental and you can use your own karaoke or accompaniment. Prizes are RM250.00, RM200.00, RM150.00 plus four consolations of RM30.00. So far eleventh persons have registered as contestants but no one yet has booked for attendances. Please contact Mr. Godfrey Ooi at tel 03-22722677 ext 127.
Announcement 3: Elderly Blind Club Gathering
This will be on Saturday, December 6th at 10.30 am at the MAB Hall. There will be a talk on the implications of writing a will presented by Amanah Raya. This will be preceded by lotto at the Elderly Blind Centre from under the charge of En. Taslim. The fee is RM4.00 for members and RM5.00 for non-members.
