Here are 5 announcements.
Announcement 1: MAB Cyber Club AGM
This will be on Saturday, 13th March 2010 at the MAB Hall from 9.00 am – 10.30 am followed by exhibition of the Apple 3GS handphone from Maxis at 11.00 am and the intelligent cane at 2.00 pm. Food will be provided. When you register, please settle your annual membership fee of RM12.00. Please register with En. Fazlin at tel. 03 2272 2677 extension 145.
Announcement 2: Thirty Percent Blind Persons in MAB Work Force
You will be happy to know that at the end of 2009, MAB has achieved 30% employment of blind persons in its work force. 32 out of 104 staff are blind. MAB is leading the way by example.
Announcement 3: English Oldies Sing Along
The second oldies sing along session will be on Saturday, 6th March 2010 from 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm at the Elderly Blind Center. The registration fee is RM1.00 only. Kindly register with Mdm. Violet Kok at tel. 03 2274 2576.
Announcement 4: Asia Regional Goalball Championship 2010
This tournament is being organised by MAB from 3 – 7 March 2010 at the PLPP Bangi from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm. The best goalball teams from Asia will be challenging each other. Announcement 5: English Audio Book
Here are 5 new english audio books in the MAB Library. The titles are:-
- The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
- Half a Life by V.S. Naipaul.
- A Morbid Taste For Bones by Alice Peters.
- The Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe.
- On a Clear Day by David Blunket.
