MAB’s Accessibility, Advocacy and Welfare Unit together with Switch Apple Premium Resellers has organised the Vision Focus program as follows:

A SITUATION DURING THE EVENT

This program is filled with three activities, namely:

  1. Vision Focus Workshop which is divided into two:
  2. Introduction to iPhone.
  3. IPhone Accessibility.

The workshop was conducted by an experienced instructor from Switch and was attended by approximately 30 blind people.

PayLater Registration:

Visually Impaired people have trouble verifying EKYC through selfies and blinking their eyes. For this reason, a team from PayLater was brought in to help blind to solve the problem. It is intended to enable the visually impaired to purchase Apple products in monthly instalments.

Sale of Apple Products at special prices

The Switch also sells Apple product in a special price to the visually impaired community so that they can enjoy the accessibility facilities provided by Apple in each of their products. More than 10 iPhones, iPads, adapters, Apple Watches and others are sold.

Overall, this program was attended by more than 100 visually impaired person. MAB would like to express the deepest appreciation and gratitude to Switch for their willingness to cooperate in making this program success.
